Egemin Unitload automated guided vehicles are designed to move loads between workstations in a production environment. ULVs can be equipped with a number of transfer devices to meet your specific application needs. One of the most common types of transfer devices is the rollerdeck device. Rollerdeck devices use chain driven live roller conveyor (CDLR) to move the load on or off the vehicle. Hand shake sensors are used both onboard and offboard the AGV to communicate with the offboard conveyor system to ensure a smooth transfer. Other types of transfer mechanisms include: lift/lower deck, shuttle arm (which require no powered offboard conveyors), chain conveyor, and belt conveyors. These transfer mechanisms are configured to carry and transfer slave pallets, racks, gaylords, wooden pallets, unitized loads, etc.
