Mailmobiles are light-duty automated guided vehicles that automatically deliver mail from the central mail center to various workstations in single and multi-story office buildings.
Mailmobile automates mail handling flexibly and affordably. It is a better alternative to manual methods or centralized drop-offs. Mailmobile starts and ends its day in the mail center and efficiently transports mail directly from place to place, allowing your staff to focus on mail preparation and sorting.
Mailmobile can communicate with your elevators to complete routes on multiple floors. The Elevator Supervisor continually monitors the status of an elevator and vehicles via communication devices mounted on each floor, allowing Mailmobile to proceed into an elevator and exit without interfering with passengers.
The Mailmobile AGV produces a visual and audible warning signal to alert a person that it is about to arrive at their location. This is extremely useful when it is not practical or possible to stop the vehicle within sight or earshot of a user.
The Mailmobile will not operate when it is off the Guidepath, except under manual operation, ensuring safety for both people and equipment.
The invisible fluorescent Guidepath is applied over existing surfaces. The Guidepath is stimulated by ultraviolet light and tracked by photoelectric sensors. The Mailmobile will not operate when it is off the Guidepath, except under manual operation, ensuring safety for both people and equipment.
